**Participants 21 years of age and older will receive one (1) free beer with their entry. Additional beer will be available for purchase.

POST RACE PARTY

After completing the St. Patrick's Day Green Beer 5K, celebrate at the Post Race Party with live music, green beer, and thousands of lucky runners!


TIMING

The St. Patrick's Day Green Beer 5K is a self-timed event. Timing clocks displaying real time will be provided at the start line and finish line to allow each participant to keep track of their time.


PACKET PICK-UP

There are 3 options for picking up your race packet:

  1. Pick up your race packet in person the week prior to the race at:

    Fleet Feet Sports - Old Town
    1620 N Wells Street
    Chicago, IL 60614

    Thursday, March 13 (12:00pm – 8:00pm)
    Friday, March 14 (10:00am – 8:00pm)

  2. Have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you the week prior to the race at Fleet Feet Sports - Old Town (location, dates and times listed above).
  3. VIP Race Day Packet Pick-Up. 
For $10.00 per race packet, you can pick up your packet on race day before the event. You can sign up for this service during the registration process.

Please note: Only those who register for VIP Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be able to pick up their packet on race day.


VOLUNTEER

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the St. Patrick's Day Green Beer 5K. Volunteers are needed to assist with every aspect of the race, including:

  • Course Marshal
  • Start line and finish line support
  • Aid station support
  • Gear Check
  • Course set up and tear down
  • Packet Pick-Up
  • Water station support
  • Clean up

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

All participants are strongly encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to Soldier Field. If you drive, please allow sufficient time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.

Soldier Field Parking

Taxi | Drop-Off Locations
All taxis and vehicles dropping off participants will be directed by traffic officials to the main Museum Campus visitor entrance on McFetridge Drive or at the18th Street Metra drop off. Vehicles should exit Lake Shore Drive at McFetridge Drive or 18th Street then proceed to the drop off point.


WEATHER POLICY

The St. Patrick's Day Green Beer 5K will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel the event. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
